Patrice M. Weiss, MD
Patrice M. Weiss, MD recently was named Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia. She is currently the Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Professor at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. She has served as the Chair of the ACOG Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Committee and is the current CREOG Program Chair. Her interests include risk management, patient safety, communication, and medical education. She has also published numerous articles on these topics.
Eric Swisher, MD
Eric Swisher, MD, has been in private practice with Physicians to Women in Roanoke, Virginia since 2001 after 8 years of active duty in the U.S. Army. He attended the University of Virginia as an undergraduate, and he received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. Swisher is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and Associate Clinical Professor at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. His clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, pelvic floor myalgia, operative hysteroscopy, and cosmetic surgery.
